NONPIATTI

Learning to recognize beautiful things.
Plates have always revealed a sense of elegance and refinement, holding within them a fascinating personal history. Perhaps that’s why I’ve always been drawn to them. I’m happy whenever I can dedicate time to searching for these objects, which have the power to turn a meal into a wonderful ritual.
But today, it's rare to enjoy food on these masterpieces—we reserve them for special occasions, or worse, we opt for more practical options, suitable for machine washing... no, no, I can't accept that! Leaving them hidden in the back of a cupboard? No!
So I started with my grandmother’s mismatched good china. I made an effort to express my love for beautiful things from the past, giving them a contemporary twist—maybe even allowing them to tell a story...
Here, Grandma, look what I’ve done!!!

ETAJER AND CANDLESTICKS

Objects that seem to belong only to the past,
but with a playful eye on the world of design, are born from seemingly clashing influences—fruits of our tireless search.
Poetic unions between the voluptuous tails of dinosaurs and old teacups, gnomes and rabbits migrating from the forest to our tables for ironic gatherings…
This is how, with passion and a deep respect for tradition, we aim to honor and care for our world.

MIRRORS AND FRAMS

Like a kintsugi—not to repair broken ceramics,
but to reveal all the poetry that can emerge from combining fragments that may never form a uniform whole, yet create a harmonious kaleidoscope of shapes and colors.
It all began with the heartbreak of accidentally breaking the most beautiful plate from my grandmother’s set. The desire not to let that memory fade pushed me to invent an alternative way to honor those shards.
And so, from a broken plate, was born the urge to create a work—an expression of both past and present values and emotions.
A new life. A story worth telling.

LIGHTS

Light and emotion are inseparable,
a poetic language born from play and experimentation, with the goal of transforming contrasting elements into sources of illumination: parts of traditional lamps paired with unlikely lampshades that evoke biblical tales; or the Capodimonte lamp that my aunt cherished so deeply—completely transformed, yet still faithful to its original elegance.
Even the precious collection of trinkets once confiscated from my now-grown little brother has finally found a meaningful purpose…
A non-conventional take on tradition.
